The client had previously bleached hair and already had visible highlight lines. They wanted a fresh placement with more depth and dimension, together with a warmer colour direction that still carried a subtle ash softness. The agreed target was a smooth, softly blended honey blonde.

The Before image shows existing lighter pieces over a darker base, with uneven warmth through the lengths. The After result shows a softer honey-blonde direction with clearer dimension, blended contrast and a glossy finish.

A five-hour service using 3% developer
The complete appointment took approximately five hours, including placement, the lightening process and care steps. For this Asian hair case, Oilly used a 3% developer with the lightening process. The 3% developer was selected after assessing the existing bleach history, with the aim of reducing unnecessary damage and helping the hair retain firmness, flexibility and easier combing.
