We focus on medium to fine highlight sections rather than large, heavy streaks. The lines are diffused and shimmer-like, creating dimension that reads as natural light reflection rather than blocked stripes. Color is graduated from darker mid-lengths to softer ends, so the result looks dimensional yet seamlessly integrated.

Who Highlights Suit Best

• Clients who want more dimension — soft shimmer lines add movement without changing your base look.
• Clients with grey hair — highlights blend grey strands naturally, and as new hair grows the regrowth appears softer and more seamless with existing highlights.
• Clients who want cool / ash tones — for ash grey or smoky results, hair often needs to be lifted to around level 8, which we plan in stages to protect hair strength.

How Long Each Highlight Service Takes

Most highlight services take 4–5 hours per client. Cases that involve dark base color, ash or cool tones, or extra length may take 6–7 hours, especially when we need to lift to level 8 for an ash grey result.

Actual time depends on hair density, hair length, the desired final tone, and your hair’s lift response. During your consultation we map out the realistic time so there are no surprises on the day.

Highlights + Hair Botox Combination

For frizzy or curly hair clients who still want highlights: we recommend pairing highlights with a hair Botox treatment in the same visit. The hair becomes smoother, straighter, and easier to manage, and the highlight lines appear cleaner and more defined. The hair also dries faster and aligns more smoothly immediately after the service.

For clients who had highlights done elsewhere and feel their hair has become dry or damaged but still love the highlight look: we have specialized techniques to help restore dry-looking hair using carefully selected and mixed professional products tailored to each client’s hair condition. Combined with hair Botox, this strengthens the hair and improves softness and smoothness — so future highlight services can be done without further damage.

Aftercare for Highlight Color

To keep cool, ash or smoky tones from drifting yellow, we recommend purple shampoo 1–2 times per week. This neutralizes warm tones after bleaching and keeps the color refined for longer.

For clients who prefer a stronger ash or smoky finish, purple shampoo can go up to 2–3 times per week, depending on your desired result and our stylist’s recommendation.
